FAQ of Warrior series flashlights
1. Why doesn't the flashlight turn on when the button switch is depressed down?
a) Make sure the battery is fully charged with full capacity.
b) Please check if the battery pack is tightly screwed on with the light body.
c) Please check the contact ring of both the light and battery, and clean it if it’s dirty.
d) When the battery or light is stored for some time, there might be a slight index change of the digital electronic system. Please depress the button switch more times to recover the system.
e) Unscrew the battery and depress the tail button switch on to look if the LED indicator of the battery is on. If not, the battery is malfunctioned, please contact your local MicroFire dealer.
2. Why will the light flicker or blink for seconds before it shines normally after the button switched is depressed on?
a) It’s normal. It will take seconds or more time for a HID bulb to get to normal “hot” working state, after it’s activated. The insides of a HID bulb are a mixture of gas and metals. The gas aids in the starting of the lamps. To produce the light, it takes time for the metals to be heated to a point of evaporation.
b) There might be slight flickers when the light is working, it’s also normal due to the HID bulb feature.
c) In case the bulb flickers all the time, please check the capacity of battery or contact the dealer.
3. Why is there something like mist inside the reflector?
a) The moisture might get into the light inside during storage.
b) Just switch on the light, it will be evaporated and disappear.
4. Why is the LED of charger stand always in green when I charge the battery?
a) Make sure the button switch of the battery has been depressed.
b) Check the battery to see if it’s already fully charged.
c) Make sure the power supply is connected with the charger stand.
d) Check to see if anything insulated the contact between the battery and charger stand.
5. Why the LED of charger stand still in red even after 5 hours charging?
a) The charging time will extend to more than usual ( 2.5 – 5 hours) in low temperature (around 10℃).
b) In case it’s still in red, there might be malfunctions with either the battery or the charger, please contact your local dealer.
6. Why does my light black out suddenly? Or why is it blinking fiercely when in use?
a) The battery is running out of.
b) The button switch is depressed accidentally.
c) The bulb is malfunctioned
d) Contact your local dealer for further help.
7. Why my light is not waterproof any more?
a) The sealing O-ring of light body is gone off.
b) The sealing O-ring is out of function and needs to be replaced.
c) Please make sure to screw on the parts of the light (such as the head and battery)
8. Why does my flashlight touch hot after 30 minutes working on?
a) That is normal. Our Warrior series HID flashlights make heat radiation accompanying the powerful light produced. It will be 40 - 50℃ with the light body after 30 minutes in normal 20℃ surroundings.
b) Warning: DO NOT touch the hot bezel when in continuous light running for safety!
